We are the Harrisons, and YES that is us, Gregory and Bonnie, jumping in the air, minutes after our first adoption, on a foggy day in Ukraine, in 2013. We have come a long way since then! After adopting 4 Ukrainian orphans we decided to venture back into these Ukrainian fields, to continue our desire to see many more orphans find a home, a family, and a respite from their many burdens. As they leave the orphanage at age 16, they are weighed-down with baggage and wounds that only LOVE and a great Saviour can heal. By God's grace, in 2018 we purchased a home in a village in Ukraine and spent 4 years ministering to aged-out orphans. We took in some to live as permanent members of our family. We celebrated birthdays, created family fun times, and held Bible studies for those who still lived a lonely existence in the dorms. We also brought Sunday school, fun and games, and humanitarian aid to the children in the local orphanage. In 2022, because of the war, in the middle of an expansion to our home so that we could take in more young adult orphans, we had to leave Ukraine, with our entire group. From the fields of Ukraine to the mountains of Romania, we continue to do the work of helping orphans in their desperate need. Our hope is the same.....to come along-side those in need and help them to find peace in Jesus Christ and in community with the family of God.
